It's a small community bank so don't have too much expectation. You have great people to work with but everyone is grossly underpaid per industry standard. Everyone complains how little they're paid from this job but I can tell you they grossly underpay. So why do people stay there? Well variety of reasons that suits their situation. Some people live close by and they have small children so they put up with it. For others, they're at retirement age so it's something to do. Then for anyone else in between, they put in the time, gain the experience then they move on. They have the basic health insurance, 401K, etc. but be prepared to pay for the health insurance. They pay for a good part of health insurance for employee only but once you add on family, you pay BIG time which is rough on majority of the employees due to low pay. Again once you've earned the experience, move on. Consider this an entry level bank to your next one. BTW, you can go years without any type of raise and when there is one, the increase is like 25 cents to 75 cents for most. If you get a whole dollar, pop open a bottle of champagne because you will be the envy of the bank.
