Asset 360 Manager (Current Employee) –  Nashville, TNJune 22, 2017
Easy job, easy money. Good leadership and flexible schedule. I like the people. Constant butt kissing as a account manager. Not fair work load for all people.

I've worked for UHS for nearly 2 years, they have emphasized career growth but most of my work is day to day with very little time to focus on career advancement.

A very mismanaged company
Biomedical Engineer (Former Employee) –  CaliforniaJune 3, 2017
Being a national company they are an absolute joke. The branch managers have zero biomed knowledge yet manage biomeds which cause problems. They get business not by promoting a quality product but by appealing to purchasing departments with low prices. Buyer beware if you use UHS

Strategic Account Executive (Current Employee) –  Minneapolis, MNMay 30, 2017
Solid company structure despite recent changes with new executive leadership. Long standing employees that are reliant on old solutions sales process. Outdated technologies make it difficult to compete with large healthcare solution providers.

Starter Job
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Duluth, MNMay 29, 2017
This was a good starter job for a newly wed. It was something that I could grow into, and it was flexible enough that I didn't just work 8 to 4. It was a good starter job.
Pros
Flexible and Close

Can't believe this is a business
HOSPITAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN (Former Employee) –  Hershey, PAMay 27, 2017
I used to work here at this company for almost two years at the account in Hershey. And let me tell you that the district manager for the Hershey company is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. So disconnected from all the employers under him and only cares about himself. If people want to know why the turn over is so bad at the account in Hershey, it's because of the district manager and all the mangers the work under him. I am so thankful that I got out of this toxic company and will never recommend them to anyone. A typical day at the Hershey account was you walk in. And before you even clock in people are handing you a pager with 10 orders on there to be completed within 30 mins. Let's not forget that this hospital is not small, it is huge. So that stresses out any person. Then from the minute you walk in and walk out you walk 15 miles that day and are so tired that you cannot even sleep at night. This is the most stressful job that I ever had and I'm so happy I am out of there. Please do not work for this company unless you want to sell your soul to the devil. The turnover is ridiculous at the Hershey account also, someone new is always starting. And after 1 week that person quits because it is so stressful. The district manager hires these people that are not qualified for this job and he thinks its funny. You sir are the worst thing that as ever happened to UHS and I hope you are personally fired from that job. Good riddance UHS. Goodbye.

Technician (Former Employee) –  DenverMay 19, 2017
The pay is low for the type of work you do. New Management do not have it together, always issues. Their priority is you making them money and not patient care and horrible training and communication.
Pros
Working in operating rooms through out the region.
Cons
Half of your job is driving and delivering.

LASER TECHNICIAN (Current Employee) –  6625 West 78th St # 300 Minneapolis, MN 55439May 15, 2017
UHS is a great company to work for..A typical day at work would include driving to two or more facilities throughout the day to run laser for surgery. I would say the hard part is dealing with angry doctors and being stuck in traffic..I recommend this type of job to someone who likes spontaneous work because everyday you are somewhere new and dealing with different people.

Manager fires everyone who works hard. And his boss knows it, but does nothing about it. This could be a great company if the manager and director had any loyalty to it. UHS is hated through out the state by everyone who has ever done business with or for it.
Pros
Paychecks are paid
Cons
Can't trust anyone above the service people

Customer Service Manager (Former Employee) –  Charlotte, NCMarch 27, 2017
A company on the GROW! Must be able to change priorities on a dime. Overtime required, on call 24 hours and on weekend, not every weekend, but maybe 1 or 2 a month.
