About Universal Lithographers
Universal Lithographers utilizes two MAN Roland 706 six color sheetfed offset presses with an inline aqueous coating unit for both spot and overall coating. These presses are linked to a PECOM server which allows direct networking between Job-Planning, Digital Pre-Press, and Digital Plate Setters. This ensures accurate control of data and color within – more... various stages of production. Also equipped with MAN Roland's Auto Plating, the presses are able to register plates quickly and efficiently. This helps us achieve record makeready times, which contributes to faster turnarounds as well. The presses can print on a variety of substrates (from 60# offset stock to 30 point board) at rated speeds of up to 15 thousand impressions per hour. With a maximum image area of 28x40, dream as large as you wish!
The Man Roland 706 comes equipped with Remote Controlled Inking (RCI) which achieves correct overall ink feed quickly, producing less waste and results in shorter makeready times.
Quickstart technology also reduces waste by immediately accelerating the system to full speed. This allows us to get back to production standards with the very first sheet after a machine interruption.
