VOLUNTEER, Bridgeview, IL - December 13, 2015
A typical day at Universal School as a volunteer was a learning experience. Learning how to manage and organize books, supplies, misc. for 20-30 students per class while creating bulletin boards and bettering the presentation of the classroom helped with time management as there was only a certain length of time allotted to get all the tasks completed. If there was ever anything I was unsure about I did not hesitate to ask staff of the school from teachers to the custodial staff to get the job done efficiently and effectively. The staff was always more than happy to assist with anything I was uncertain about and cut no corners when explaining to me what needed to be done and how to get it done.
