Each day began with coding 4 to 7 emails for the seven catalog brands Universal Screen Arts owned. These were graphic intensive and were targeted to specific groups based on a number of factors.
New and challenging tasks involving management, eCommerce and design teams were a frequent happening. I thoroughly enjoyed the design and array of tasks presented.
The hardest part of the job would be coding from the ground up to achieve special results laid out by the design team. However, each challenge was not only a learning experience but allowed me to add new skills to my repertoire.
Coworkers and management were always a pleasure to deal with as they were open to suggestions, hurdles and time-crunches presented by the task. The open-door policy with HR and management was a pleasant experience and never threatening.
In closing, Universal Screen Arts was a pleasurable place to work and presented many challenges and growth opportunities.
