An exciting new opportunity exists for an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator with Affinity Medical Solutions in Richmond, CA, affiliated with University HealthCare Alliance (UHA), Stanford Hospital & Clinics' new medical foundation.
The EDI Coordinator is responsible for processing the scheduled Electronic Data Interchange transactions that drive the enterprise. Additionally, this role is accountable for numerous electronic file transfers relating to eligibility, capitation, and encounter data according to established policies and procedures; troubleshooting issues with the Secure FTP transfers and login credentials as well as maintaining up-to-date procedure documentation. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented and be able to handle ad-hoc assignments while accurately maintaining hundreds of file transfers throughout each month.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; the ability to work well in a team; proficiency in MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel); have a basic level of SQL Server skills (i.e. ability to create basic queries and use SQL Server Management Studio); excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to prioritize projects.
Prior EDI and healthcare experience is a plus.
