Established in 1994 by University Hospitals Health System (UHHS), University Primary and Specialty Care Practices (UPCP) is the largest primary care physician group in northeastern Ohio complemented by a diverse group of specialty practices. The network of practices includes internists, family practitioners, pediatricians and obstetricians/gynecologists and Urgent Care physicians. Podiatrists, Nurse practitioners, nurse midwifes and physician assistants also practice in some of our offices. Some UPCP primary care physicians are also board certified in a second specialty area and practice as both primary care physicians and specialists.
