Loved this job!
Ctr Entrepreneurial Excellence, Executive Advisor (Former Employee), Manama, Bahrain –
Pros: great mission and people to work for!
UCSD/Beyster Institute was a fabulous institution to work for. My position was based in Bahrain and I traveled throughout the Middle East. I worked for two super sharp men, Ray Smilor and Rob Fuller. They taught me a lot and were very supportive. The Center that I directed in Bahrain surpassed all goals set.

I accepted the position as a one year temporary – more...  assignment to start the Center and choose a successor. The decision was made to keep me there for three years at which time USG funding ceased. – less

abusive cultural environment
nurse (Current Employee), la jolla –
Cons: pay for parking, abusive administration
Administration is overpaid and incompetent which creates a hostile environment and accelerates turnover. The employees left are tied to the hopes of a pension and are apathetic to the chaos. Unsafe conditions in the hospital are a result of understaffing and circumventing ratios and break laws. The staff try there best but if you speak up you are targeted – more...  and forced out due to abuse. It is only a matter of time until a lawsuit occurs for gender and racial bias. Disgusting! – less

Strength and Conditioning Internship (Current Employee), San Diego, CA –
I highly advise positions within this establishment as they treat their personnel well and promote from within.

They almost never hire from within unless you are a mindless puppet. If they hire someone from the outside it can remain a culture of chaos and disorganization so the lazy and racist administration does not need to fix anything. Hire from within - absolutely untrue!
