graduate research assistant (Former Employee) – Gainesville, FL – January 4, 2016
the school is good for undergrads not so much for higher education in science and technology fields. The school focuses so much on sports and athletics which technically have nothing to do with the graduate research
Enjoyed being a teaching assistant (TA) for the controls lab. Was constantly able to help students troubleshoot issues with their code and hardware. Hardly ever even noticed what time it was due the amount of interest and focus I had with my job. The pay is not great but work is fun.
Positive environment; opportunity for growth and development
Word Processor (Former Employee) – Gainesville, FL – December 3, 2015
Very slow paced environment. However, a positive environment which encouraged opportunity for self development. Ended up going back to school taking advantage of employee benefits. Met a lot of wonderful people from different walks of life and from different countries.
Employee benefits; opportunity to meet a lot of people from different places.
Very Productive but no room for advancement. Very progressive management and I worked very well with all of my co-workers. The Department is growing but not in the area I work in. So I would like to find a position with room to move up/advance.
i think this was one of my most enjoyable position i ever had. i enjoy keying customer information and the learning the company. They always showed the employees how much the appreciated them on numerous occassion. it was said that the outsource the company to Chicago.
Great environment to interact with and help other students. I was able to learn just as much if not more while guiding other students through their labs. Great experience and also helped me develop skills that will be needed in the future.
