Umass Medical in the Shraffts building was by far the worst work experience I have endured to date. My colleagues were great until salaries became the topic of discussion and management did not seem to care much. There was not a lot of diversity in upper management and no room for growth.

Depends on which department you work for. The Biology department was great. Technical Services, through Campus Services, was a less balanced work and home life.

Students take some of the jobs for granted and there for slack off. While it is a easy job and flexible some students do not take it seriously which causes problems. A more rigid structure would make it better long term and overall.
