I was let go after I didn't meet the expectation of my supervisor. Wasted six months of working hard only to be let go at the end of the probationary period. Management wants you to come in knowing everything, They don't want to take the time and train you properly. Job was stressful and a waste of my valued time. I hate I left a good job for more pay to go there and be humiliated.

Again, this depends on your particular department and the folks that you work with. Most people on River Campus are approachable, happy to help, and interested in furthering your growth. Like anything, there are always one or two exceptions, but on the whole, most people are great.

The pay grades were set by management, base on the level of experience needed and knowledge needed. The lower the pay grade, the less experience and level of knowledge was needed. Hourly positions are the only ones with the pay grades 5-10. Management level postions had a different numerical code.
