Wegmans is a great place to work. As a starter job or as a job you want to stay with, depending on what you are looking to do. Very flexible with scheduling and care about you as a person.

Blood Services (Current Employee) –  Buffalo, NYDecember 2, 2014
The only great thing about working at unyts is the donors and the caring staff. Its really too bad it is not suitable for someone with family obligations or any obligations. The schedule is very inconsistant along with long hours of work that are mainly from 9am to 9pm. The company means well but has yet to find a system that flows. A lot of last minute changes. There's a constant rate of turnover in employees. There seems to be a lot of sharing of job duties among each dept. so its very confusing as to what your job duties are.

Management is very shady. Employees are treated differently among each other within same departments. Constant changes in management and high turnover. Not a trustworthy company.

Print and Broadcast Media Team (Former Employee) –  Buffalo, NYSeptember 2, 2013
-Professional work opportunity for a semester throughout my advance public relations course
-Work to gain media coverage
-Main targets were newspapers, local TV stations, radio
-Gained insight on how a non-profit organization is managed
-Cooperated in a 6 person team
-Hardest part was obtaining media coverage
-Management within the team was moderated by assigning each person their won personal roles
