Conduct routine maintenance on cellular radio sites antennas and coaxial cable lines. Including but not limited to, installation, optimization and troubleshooting of cellular radio antennas, coaxial cables and tower mounts. Responsible for grounding and weatherproofing of lines and jumpers, as well as ground ring installation. Additional tasks include ice bridge installation, trenching and conduit installation as well as concrete pad work. Identify equipment and materials needed for projects. Site construction support may include installation of electronic cabinets.
Must be able to work extended schedules and twenty-four (24) hour on-call status when assigned. Ability to climb towers up to 300 feet, handle antenna mount installation on top of tower, repelling skills required. This work environment entails being subjected to seasonal temperature changes. Ability to operate a motor vehicle, winch system. Must have valid drivers license and a responsible driving record.
