Fast paced workflow was enjoyable to make the day go by fast. Big screen televisions always on Fox News or MSNBC. It was rather distracting but entertaining as long as deadlines were met. Very casual dress code, jeans & tees. Friendly employees. Some of the Managers seemed a little ego driven. Some of the female Managers dressed like they were going to da club during businees hours. The girl in H.R. always left food containesr on her desk overnight and during weekends. Roaches became a problem. The employees of the Operations department and their Manager, all females, had a weekly task of lifting and carrying 60 to 80 boxes (as heavy as a 10ream box of copy paper) downstairs for off site storage to pick up. They didn't have a dolly just a couple of mailroom carts. The dude/dudes with muscles and a couple of dollies picking up the documents could easy have gathered them and probably more quickly too. These girls didn't appear like they were strong butchy type females, one girl wore gardening gloves to protect her manicure. Although the Manager while not a butchy type, was a former police officer. She would often talk about her husband, a current police officer, and his undercover work. He'd dress as a derelict and bust the homeless for drug or public drunk crimes. I don't think she should have been telling those stories, true or not, but it fit with her controlling strong arm weekly box mailcart adventures. This job require lots of paperwork with strict attenton to detail. Lots of phone calls, follow ups, faxes & emails. Not to mention signatures. If a signature was missed itmore... could take another month to release the loan. Very frustrating for my departments goals as well as the recipient requesting funds on their families home.less

Loan Account Manager Assistant (Former Employee) – Tulsa, OK – February 7, 2013
Overall it was a pleasant place to work. I learned how to manage loan accounts & all about the reverse mortgage process. Management was difficult at times, but they were working hard to fix the issues. Co-workers were goal driven. Hardest part of the job was rejecting loan applications. Most enjoyable part of the job was satisfying our clients.
