Case Manager (Former Employee) – Bronx, NY – August 16, 2013
My typical day at work was to attend to the departments I was responsible for and provide feedback to the physicians regarding any high risk factors identified with the prenatal population. I learned how to provide services to my patients on a timely fashion. I also learned how to be sensitive to the patients feelings and needs due to cultural differences. Overall, management was always around and available whenever a problem was present. My co-workers were dependable to always provide a helping hand. The hardest part of the day would be whenever a patient would not understand the procedures I needed to follow in order to complete necessary paperwork. The most enjoyable moment of the job would be me seeing a patient with a smile on their face because the service was met.
