A typical day working at Urological Assoc. of Savannah included working with your Doctor and sharing a Doctor with one other nurse in your nursing station. You would typically work with a Doctor either 8a-12p or 1p-5p and would see on average 15-30 patients during those time frames.
There is an excellent management team that is always working with you and supporting you in every way they can. They are observant and attentive. If there is ever any issues they are dealt with quickly and discreetly.
As in any new job you have to get to know each other and have time to know their personalities and your own but once you get acquainted the co-workers in this office will do anything to help each other and you. I was freshly out of nursing school and could not have asked for a better support system or better mentors to attempt to live up to in my future career.
The hardest part of the job was how busy the practice was and wanting to do more than you could possibly do. This office makes you want to care for your patients and do everything you can to help your patient but sometimes there was just not enough time in the day but your co-workers did everything they could to help you when they weren't as busy as you and you did the same for them.
The great people that work in the office with you and the support you receive from them. It is more like a small community that care for each other. Also, the patients are so grateful for your help.
