My job starts the minute I step out of my vehicle - questions on status: personnel, projects, vehicles, etc. I have learned to multi-task to a higher level, juggle priorities, and meet the needs of everyone involved as well as assess the weaknesses and strengths of personnel I have on staff.
The hardest part of the job is keeping up with the demand for quality but still expecting quantity.
The best part of the day is knowing what you accomplished with the restraints defined for you. Others may not see it but I do.
