Cons: had to preform hr duties, in warehouse during cold winter.
With expect back logged needs, to fill in prior to yearly surge of order, deliveries and shipments began training with the simplest of paper flow. Once caught up to prior work week paper load, expanded to assist head customer service keeping up thier weekly workload. During slow times, stepped in to assist the Human Resource Department input data, hours, – more... opperation codes and open or close files as needed bases. – less

Supervisor (Current Employee), Centurion, GPAugust 6, 2014
Pros: learning a lot by interacting with people from all walks of life
Cons: no growth in the sense that you might be stuck in the same position for quite some time
I assist and manage my team . I also asssits with escalations which has actually taught me to think on my feet and out of the box ( apply your mind ) . It has also taught me how to handle stress as almost daily i deal with irate clients with different queries and scenarios.I have good relationship with my colleagues , we are like a family . Even when – more... you are stressed you tend to look at the lighter side of the situation as there will be someone next to you lending a helping hand when needed – less

Best company to work for. Wide career range
Clerk (Former Employee), EdenvaleJuly 15, 2014
Working hours and stuff were good. Except angry customers there were not much challenges. The work was most challenging as you had to meet clients and customer needs but it was fun and enjoyable. Management and stuff were great as they all had respects for our different culture, relegion and believes. They were none sexiest nor racist.

Fun and stresses in the work environment
Learnership (Supply Chain) (Current Employee), Port Elizabeth, ECMay 21, 2014
Pros: going out for lunches ana making braai's
Cons: long hours and loads of work
My day are always good because have the most nice , and easy to getalong co-workers . I always learn new things since my mentor trys to expose me to every part of the business .

Management are the best because is my mentor and anything at my interest hardest part or let me say stressful part of the job is sometimes not knowing whats expected of me – more... or not fully undertsanding the work I have been given .

When we as workers have nice chats and braai's to not break the bond and when we have achieved projects that is a great feeling to us as workers that our efforts are appreciated. – less

ADMIN CLECK (Current Employee), Johannesburg, GPMay 14, 2014
Pros: n/a
Cons: long hours
I used to do same thing everyday and for it was not quiet a challenge so was getting bored sometimes, because i am one type of a person who loves challenges and exploring new things.one important thing i learnt was time-management and that really made me realise how important time is especially in meeting deadlines. The relationship i had with management – more... and my co-workers was good if i must say because we respected one another regardless of background, religion and e.tc.Working at night for 2 years without changing that was the hardest part, but nevertheless i enjoyed. – less

At the moment they are ungoing a transition period taking on more countries by the month.

This office in Johannesburg is one there three Financial shared service centers in the world.

My staff of 6 Account Receivable Specialist work very hard and long hours to ensure not only that our – more... work is always up to date but also that we go the extra mile to help our clients so that querys coming our way are kept to a minumal.

Month end is long hours and alot of effort put in, but my staff know the end result and therefore are determined to make target and deadlines.

Time off is given for extra hours worked. – less

Learnership
Waybill Clerk (Former Employee), Johannesburg, GPJanuary 28, 2014
Cons: long hours
During my time at UTI, I was exposed to lots exposure as a data capturer, picker, stock controller, waybill clerk and warehousing.

My length of career there was not that long as I was on a learnership programme and a temporal contract that subsequently expired.

I had a good work relationship with my colleagues and managers.

I always assisted in December – more... when there was shortage with permanent staff going on leave.

I have been without a job for a year now post graduation and it is so heartbreaking to see my mom struggling to make ends meet when she put her financial efforts to give the best education that other kids are not fortunate to have. – less

Outbound Call Centre (Current Employee), Johannesburg, GPNovember 19, 2013
Pros: leaving work early when there is no work available.
Cons: every minute is to be spent on the phone and no free minutes
Ensure target is met everyday. the job groomed me to be more patient with people and learned a lot of listening skills and how to control my tone, am so calm even though I feel like shouting my lungs out.
Part about the work enviroment I love the most is the family orientation of the team, we are a team, work as a team and play as a team.
