It really depends on the job you are in. If you're in an administrative role, there may be some flexibility with start and end times and some positions even allow you to work from home.

Really check out patient complaints regarding physicians behavior during physical exam. Set definite protocol for physicians, particularly male physicians, during physical exams, like having a nurse in with them at all times during physical contact, and what is appropriate and acceptable in terms of touching and hands on physical exams. Also to hire management that will advocate for their staff members if needed.

For UW Medical Foundation employees, it is the 1st of the month following a full month of employment. For UW Hospital & Clinic employees, it's the 1st of the month following two full months of employment.
