Development Assistant needed to be responsible for front of office functions for the Department and provide clerical support to all Department personnel as needed. Responsible for maintaining the Agency's donor databases and mailing lists, prepares development reports, prepares and contributes to various media (online, Agency and community) and manages office volunteers.
Maintains donor information files in computerized database and enters donation information. Update and correct database records.
Maintain current foundation and corporate information for grant request purposes in the computerized database
Coordinates Development marketing/information materials under the direction of the Director through the use of various software programs and interacts with graphic design staff.
Assists in special event planning and managment, maintaining volunteer, sponsor and donor participant information in computerized database.
Coordinates office volunteers for clerical support and specific project management.
Provides general office and clerical support for the Department, including reception, telephone answering, mail/postage, photocopying and scanning.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
A minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative position,preferable in a not for profit development office.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Database management experience, familiarity with donor software and Constant Contract a plus.
