PART TIME Group Coordinator needed to be responsible for planning, implementing and conducting groups for the MSC program.
Assist the Program Coordinator with planning and implementing the MSC programs and groups consistent with the program model of the MSC.
Maintain policies, procedures and program content for the MSC operations.
Assist the Program Coordinator with recruiting, training and supervising MSC volunteers. Maintain compliance with agency requirements and record keeping for volunteers.
Evaluate prospective participants and thier families and, if appropriate after an orientation, assist the Program Coordinator with adding them to a MSC group.
Work collaboratively with the Office of Development to pursue ongoing funding of MSC.
Participate in ongoing education related to the field of grief and loss.
Provide grief resources to organizations and individuals in the community.
Maintain appropriate documentation of MSC activities.
Under the direction of the Director of MSC and Community Outreach, implement and participate in Camp Erin, MSC's annual children's grief camp.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Baccalaureate degree in psychology, sociology or related field.
Minimum one year support and group experience in a health care setting.
Education and/or experience in field of grief and loss.
