Prepare weekly Continuing Medical Education Comt. Meetings
Prepare initial credentialing files and reappointment files for all physicians.
Understand and follow The Joint Commission standards.
Understand and follow the Conditions of Participation for Medicare/Medicaid (CMS).
Understand and follow the Colorado State Society for Continuing Medical Education for physicians.
I was instrumental in changing the Continuing Medical Education Program and updating the format while enforcing the Colorado State Society Standards.
I was instrumental in adding a "Credentialing' Committee.
The management was excellent.
The workplace culture was translucent which helped employees to interact better with one another.
The most difficult part of the job was working with health care agencies and Medicare and Medicaid while completing physician applications to their individual organizations.
I actually enjoyed how many responsibilities I had and how busy I was.

Very high pressure at times, continuous change in procedures and expectations. We were held to a high standard, which is good, but sometimes excessive pressure was put on, then the work available would reduce dramatically and we were just expected to deal with that, too.
