About Valor Healthcare
Valor develops and operates outpatient clinics providing primary healthcare services to military veterans under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinic Program.
Valor began operations in March 2004, and opened its first Veterans Clinic in August 2004. During this period and with management's prior experience, Valor – more... has developed:
Methods for operating Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC or Veterans Clinic) under contracts with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), providing top-quality primary care to military veterans.
Enthusiastic acceptance of Valor's methods and services by representatives of the VA at all levels, as well as the military veteran patients served.
National industry reputation as top-quality medical services providers.
With management's extensive experience in developing and operating Veterans Clinics in previous enterprises, Valor has developed its numerous Veterans Clinics across many States : See Map for details
Valor is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). This is quite an accomplishment in that only a handful of the contracted VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics have received accreditation by the JCAHO.
The management team of Valor has extensive experience in managing VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics. As a management team, we have opened and successfully operated 17 VA Clinics.
Our VA Clinics offer both Primary Care Services and Mental Health Services. The Primary Care Physicians are all board certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Practice. Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants working in the Primary Care Clinics have national certification in their respective fields. Working along with the Board Certified Psychiatrists in the Mental Health Clinics are Ph.D. Psychologists and Masters prepared Clinical Social Workers.
Each of our VA Clinics has a local Advisory Council made up of the Commanding Officers for each of the veterans organizations (i.e., Disabled American Veterans; American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars; Purple Heart Veterans; Vietnam Veterans, etc.). The senior management of Valor meets quarterly with the Advisory Council for each VA Clinic. The local VA organizations have been very supportive and appreciative of the high level of care provided to the veterans in the VA Clinics operated by Valor.
Valor has a proven track record of providing quality and compassionate care to the U.S. Military veterans and is recognized as a strong partner with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
