We are a small, friendly school in a well-maintained two-storey brick building. We pride ourselves on our warm and friendly atmosphere, and we are very proud of our students and their accomplishments.
We strive to maintain a balance in our program among the intellectual, social, aesthetic and physical aspects of the students' development. Our students – more... come from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of learning needs and strengths. In addition to the modifications and adaptations we make in the classroom to meet their needs, we have the support of a part-time English as a Second Language teacher and a part-time Special Needs Resource teacher.
Hudson has a district Challenge Centre that offers programs to gifted students from schools in the northwest sector of the city.
Our athletics program includes interschool teams for cross-country running, soccer, volleyball, basketball and badminton; a skipping club, a Gr. 1-2 soccer club, and Gr. 4-5 volleyball, basketball, soccer and small equipment clubs. Teams and clubs are sponsored by staff members and parents. We have a weekly after-school open gym program operated by the False Creek Community Centre. The program is open to students in Grades 4 to 7 and the activities vary. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
