Support operations through the implementation of Continuous Improvement Lean/Six Sigma projects, sustaining, improving and streamlining overall processes within the organization.
Responsible to support LEAN Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives and actions throughout the facility.
Intermediate level of knowledge in Continuous Improvement, including Green belt Six Sigma.
Analyze data; develop VSM’s, identifying areas of improvement.
Engages with department personnel in all levels of improvement work.
Support plant teams in increasing the effectiveness of manufacturing and business processes
Ensure facility activities adhere to LEAN standards (material flow, set-up reduction, 5S etc.
Must maintain focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering/engineering technology discipline required.
Minimum 4 years manufacturing experience required.
Experience implementing LEAN manufacturing concepts within a manufacturing environment required.
Requires demonstrated mechanical aptitude and machine operation experience.
Six Sigma Green Belt desired.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills – must be comfortable and competent at presenting technical information to senior management and defending position.
Excellent computer skills with strong capability with Microsoft Office products; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and AutoCAD experience preferred.
