Certified Medical Assistant (Full-Time)
Experienced MEDICAL ASSISTANT for busy multi-physician Vascular Surgeon’s office in Troy. Minimum 2 yrs experience required, EMR & EPIC experience a plus but not mandatory. Compensation compatible with experience, Medical Benefits, Fax resume to: 248-551-3261

Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and recording medical history; taking vital signs; records patient examination notes, vitals, treatment plan, and test results into EMR system.

Attends to all patient care and helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies in a timely manner. Maintains office operations by following policies and procedures and reports any needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.

Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information per HIPPA. Keeps MSDS binder up to date as well as clinic current per Medicare guidelines, OSHA rules, etc

Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; preparing & placing orders; verifying receipt. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Keeps equipment operating by following proper operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintain supplies; performs preventive maintenance

Serves and protects the physician or health care provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
