The hardest part of my job was the long travels to and from work. My co-workers were really good people to work with and learn from.

This company does not care whether you have a family or whether you are going to school to advance your career.
Combination Welder/ fitter (Former Employee), Carey, OHAugust 17, 2012
Pros: not many
Cons: long lay offs. excuses for no training that is ask for. poor management.
While working for this company some of the employees were good people to work with. Some of the employees were showed favortism due to family and friends who worked in management. The management team did not see proper values in employees and constantly lied to them and promised this and that and never came through with what was promised.
A typical – more... day at work was driving company vehicle 2 and half hours one way to a job site with out any travel pay either way. I would spend over 80 hours away from home, family and school but was only paid for 40 hours of that time. To me this is not showing employees there graditude for the time they put into their company. – less

Vaughn Industries is a family owned and operated business and a great place to start and have a career. Its a great place to learn the trade and how to do it safely. My co-workers are great and easy to get along with. Everyone works hard but has fun at the same time.

Ya Vaughns is good place to work if you are in one of these two divisions. If you are not then you do not get treated the same as the rest. You are considered a loser if in any other division with Vaughn Industries. It is not a place for someone to advance their career unless in HIGH VOLTAGE OR SUB-STATION divisions.
