VCA Pet Doctor Great people but Corporate Own and below average benefit
Prefer not to say (Former Employee), Richardson, TXAugust 4, 2013
Pros: nice and friendly people including the doctors
Cons: below average benefits
The people at the hospital from top to bottom are great people. I'm still here because I love the people who are working in this particular hospital.

But because it is CORPORATE, DO NOT expect to get any RAISE or GOOD BENEFITS. The benefits is below average unless you are a salary paid and not an hourly paid. Everything is done for image (created from the corporate office) but not for employees benefits. The money they make all goes to promotional stuff but not for employees benefits.

The most enjoyable aspects of the job are the client and team member interactions.

Regional Operations Director (Former Employee), Los AngelesMarch 29, 2012
Pros: exciting field, growth potential
Cons: corporate culture, corporate medicine
Stable, growth, decent compensation. Environment has become very corporate. Medicine used to be veterinary driven. Corporate initiatives have muddied trust with clients.
