In June of 1993, Kim co-founded Vega Consulting Solutions and has helped build Vega into one of the fastest growing consulting companies in the Northeast.Posting growth in every quarter since its inception, Vega has gained a reputation for integrity and quality.
Kim has been involved in the technology industry for almost two decades and became well regarded for her track record of growth and development of the IT businesses that employed her. She held the post of Chief Operating Officer within a publicly held, international consulting company before starting Vega.
Kim was introduced to international recruiting and immigration issues early in her career. She remains a leading expert and spokesperson on these issues. Kim is an active member of the Women,s Political Caucus of NJ and co-chairs New Jersey,s Technology Workforce Committee. She is also on the Advisory Board of NJ,s Women In Technology. She has appeared as a guest speaker on issues regarding women in the workplace, gender and technology, and high tech education initiatives.
In addition, Kim applies her business skills to the nonprofit sector as a member of the Board of Directors of the ,Center for Great Expectations,, a residential treatment center for homeless, pregnant women. Kim was recently recognized for her contributions to technology as an honoree of the Women,s Fund of NJ.
Gregory has over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the Information Technology Consulting industry.
Mr. Shand co-founded Vega Consulting Solutions, Inc. in 1993 with Kimberly Shand. He continues to be instrumental in the strategic direction of the company,s sales and marketing effort, which boasts a Fortune 1000 client base in more than 40 cities from coast-to-coast.
Prior to his current position with Vega, Mr. Shand served as the Vice-President of Sales, for a UK based consulting firm. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration, Communications, and English.
Greg,s contributions to Vega as Chief Financial Officer were recently recognized in his nomination for the New Jersey Technology Council,s CFO of the year. Greg is also very active with the (SIM) Society for Information Management , NJ Chapter, where he fills the role as Treasurer on the Board of Directors. In addition, Greg sits on the Finance Committee of SIM International. Greg,s belief in community service includes his participation as a corporate board member with ,Children,s Friends for Life,, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with HIV/AIDS.
Lawrence Sullivan joined the company as a Partner in 1995. With over 15 years of financial, sales and marketing experience in the IT consulting industry, Mr. Sullivan has played a crucial role in establishing Vega's presence in more than 20 state government projects, through alliances that he has cultivated with several major systems integrators.
Prior to his current position with Vega, Mr. Sullivan held a position as Director of Sales for a publicly traded international consulting firm. He holds a B.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Marist College. – less–ZoomInfo
