Overview

You are looking for your dream job. You love Vega, nutrition, fitness and Los Angeles and want to find ways to share your passions with the world. This is a full-time gig covering the LA region. Reporting to our Community Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for connecting Vega within the community and driving sales with key retail partners.

You take customer service and sales seriously, but have fun at work with the Vega team! Key Responsibilities

Bring the Vega brand experience to life by hosting in-store demos, community events and races
Partner with key retail marketing teams to maximize impact of events and promotions in-store
Develop regional promotion plan for local events and sampling locations
Create unique/impromptu sampling opportunities
Establish and grow Vega LA social media assets
Develop and manage relationships with key influencers including yoga instructors, running group leaders, personal trainers and local media and celebrities
Recruit and hire field support team (as required)
Report on field marketing activities, results and budget
Liaise with regional account managers to maximize sell-through
Coordinate sample and swag inventory

Skills and Qualifications

Business degree in marketing or business admin (or equivalent)
1-2 years’ experience in sales or marketing role; field experience an asset
Super organizational skills – you tweet and organize your call schedule all at the same time (aka multitasking)
Valid driver’s license
Food safe certification
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends
Connected with the LA health and fitness community
Social media savvy and highly creative
Strong Vega product knowledge
Outgoing personality – you draw a crowd wherever you go
Enthusiastic, engaging and confident speaker
Entrepreneurial nature – you find opportunity and take initiative to make things happen
Goal-oriented – you are known for your integrity; you always do what you say you will
Passion for health, fitness and nutrition
