Rewarding and fun place to work, work/life balance always a consideration by the staff.
Transportation Supervisor (Former Employee) – Naples, FL – April 16, 2016
In my job capacity at Bentley Village, the typical day consisted of meeting the transportation requirements of the community residents, whether it entailed transportation within the community, medical transportation to medical appointments, or bus travel to cultural events. The most important thing that I learned was that working in this type of setting it is very important to be sensitive and compassionate to the needs of the residents. The management was sensitive to the needs of the residents as well and promoted a philosophy of enrichment, engagement and enjoyment, as well as being sensitive to the needs of the employees. Generally, there was a strong atmosphere of teamwork within the workforce. The most difficult part of the job was experiencing the passing or death of residents with whom a passionate relationship existed, however the most enjoyable part of the job, was the satisfaction at the end of the day, that you brightened someone's day.
Good work/life balance and free meals.
Sometimes the stress of unanticipated events.
