Good people to work for, Not so great to work under.
Distribution associate C (Former Employee), Roanoke, TXSeptember 8, 2013
Pros: chances for overtime, job isnt that difficult for most positions, great co-workers, pay is pretty good, starts off at around 10 for tempory, then 12+ hired on, ac controlled warehouse.
Cons: horrible management, no rewards for doing a good job, only complaints for everything, mandatory overtime can be 10 hours or more, and multiple days a week, because the supervisors cant manage their employees correctly
They have varying start times per your shift and if they are working Overtime or not, which they do a lot of.
Also the hours differ depending on the department you go to.
I learned how to use a lot of different machines while in the shipping department.
My co-workers were all extremely fun and knowledgeable to work with.
All upper management above the – more... shift leaders are just horrible. They rail you for every little thing from being a minute late on your break to taking a sick day. Also god forbid you ever want to take a vacation. My only complaint is the bosses from the leads up. Don't believe anything they tell you whether is be about hours, wages, vacation times, training, or anything at all you can't trust it. – less

Small call center of about 24 agents, taking at least 85-100 calls a day. Hardest part of this job was product training as well as system training. Friendly co workers!

Unreliable, company is not solid in its market
Engineering (Former Employee), Denton, TXMay 29, 2013
Pros: if you get to work early you can park under covered parking.
Cons: toxic environment
Be very careful if thinking of accepting a job with this company. They are not good to employees, most are very stressed and in constant fear of losing their jobs. It is sad but as the company has been bought and sold something in the culture of the organization changed so much that they will openly tell employees they are disposable. I accepted a job – more... with another company and went from being invisible to a target of borderline harassing behavior. The last two weeks with them was torture when it should not have been. The management are under so much stress from the stressed out directors that they are in constant closed door meetings and willing to throw anyone under them under the bus to save face with the VP:s of their divisions. One can only hope that at some point they will realize the culture inside is within their control and is their responsibility. They have had lay offs where the best in departments were let go simply because they earn more than the rest of the staff then once gone the department struggles because the core is gone such as what occured in project mangement department. Customer Service is like a revolving door up there and the director tries to be everyones mom and is way to emotional and reactive to be in her position. But if you want to be able to wear pajamas to work customer service in this company is that unprofessional. Good luck – less

It is a great place to work, compensation could be better
Manufacturing Planner (Current Employee), Denton, TXMay 29, 2012
If you promote from within the company I feel you get treated differently on the compensation scale then if you hire in.
