The days at this job varied as well, I would be stationed to a different station in the store either the dressing room, panty bar, pink section, glamour section etc.. My co workers were really nice along with the customers. The hardest part about the job is that the hours were never guaranteed so you would never know when you worked. The most enjoyable – more... part was the semi annual sale, it was super fun. – less

Pros: fun work environment
Cons: pay is a bit low
If you are a woman and need a job, Victoria's Secret is your place. I have had jobs that pay better, however, the management was kind and tried to make the work place enjoyable. They allow you to try on bras and makeup and encourage you to utilize the testers in order to make a good connection with the customers.
Sales Support (Former Employee), Laredo, TX – May 22, 2013
Pros: discounts on products
Cons: unbalanced work scheldule
From the time I worked there I had good encounters with co-workers and management Id just come in and start replenishing panties, bras, lotions, ect. I leared to color code and mange the stock room. probably the hardest thing to do was accepting the shipments and finding where to put all the product. The best part was great co-workers and meeting new – more... people. – less

The management and co-workers at Victoria's secret are phenomenal. Every single person is a team player and we all care about each and every customer that walks through our door. A typical day at work is extremely fast paced and is all about the customer experience. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting to meet all different types of people – more... every single day. – less

Career History & Accomplishments Sales Associate for Victoria’s Secret (Limited Brands) 2010-2011 * Experienced in setting up new floor plans for big events (Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual Sale). * Assisting customers and making sure that their experience is enjoyable and excellent customer service. * Learned the correct Victoria’s Secret way of displaying – more... and organizing the apparel in an attractive way for the customers. * Cleaned, dusted, vacuumed the floors and surfaces throughout the store. * Worked at the cash register, on the sales floor, fitting room, and stock room. * Greeted customers and helped them find what they were looking for. I made sure that their shopping experience was memorable and one met with excellence. * Learned how to properly perform a bra fitting, using the correct measuring technique. * Helped with the take-back process - was given the "take back" clothes from the dressing room and arranged the apparel in the correct place. * This was the best job experience I've ever had. It was a lot of hard work, but I learned a lot of valuable skills, had fun working in the environment, and met a wonderful group of people in the process. – less
I would never work here again. They have you on call all the time. They make you stay later then your suppose to. I use to get out at 12:30am on school night. They have no consideration of your personal life. It is a very "high school' atmosphere. Everyone talks about each other. The managers don't treat everyone equally, as if they pick favorites. – more... It is the most unprofessional place I've ever worked in. It was not a place i would ever want to go back to. – less

If someone is wheeling to teach and train you it is a great place to really learn about management and understanding how to analyze sales and how to maximize sales. However recently the company has changed directions and that don't develop each associate like they use to. For instance they aren't as willing to work with a college student hours anymore, – more... if you don't have the ability that fits there exact need they won't schedule you. A few years ago I would say this was a great company to work for, especially if you are a college student but not today. I feel that they lost respect for the employees. – less

Sales Support (Former Employee), 7007 Friars Rd, San Diego, CA 92108 – May 17, 2013
Pros: hot women, great co-workers
Cons: horrible managers, short breaks, poor communication between managers, call ins, lack of respect, lack of job training, low wages
Extremely rude and inconsiderate bosses that never communicated with each other resulting in me being assigned multiple projects all the time. You are treated more like an animal than you are a human being. The management was extremely hypocritical at our store often trying to get employees to do certain things in a specific way and yet I would catch – more... them breaking their own rules! My work days were constantly being changed and I was forced to make call ins at 5:30 in the morning where 90% of the time they didn't even need me. This was the most frustrating place I've ever worked. Thank god I don't work there any more. – less
Sales Associate (Current Employee), Indianapolis, IN – May 16, 2013
Pros: pleasant atmospere.
Cons: not having steady work hours per week.
There is a steady flow of new stock to put out from the shipment. I've learned to pace myself in order to finish the new stock in a timely matter. Management usually directs you with the most important area to work on. My co-workers are definitely a pro. The hardest part of the job is finishing all the stock in the four hours provided to work.
Staffing and Operations Manager (Current Employee), Chicago – May 16, 2013
Limited Brands is a very innovative and sassy brand. Excitement awaits everytime you come into work, and the passion and dedication they have for their employees is like no others.
Sales Floor/Customer Service (Former Employee), Bradenton, FL – May 16, 2013
I would go into work every day with a smile on my face ready to face the day and greet costumers as they entered the door. I knew how to size bras and I would help costumers who were having problems finding the right fit. Floor resets and keeping things neat were all included in my job.
