Care Giver (Former Employee) – Festus, MO – June 26, 2017
Had various clients throughout the day. Preformed duties for client on a as need basis. I enjoyed helping the clients. Management didn't really care about workers as long as they showed up to do their job. Not always enough hours to work. No benefits of any kind offered
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) – Festus, MO – February 8, 2016
A typical day at work was attempting to learn my job duties, with little to no training. I was grasping the HHA online health program well, with little guidance and mostly utilizing daily. I learned that it is very challenging to work in a small office with only 2-3 workers. My boss showed interest at first, but lacked the ability to properly train an employee for the position. The hardest part of the job was learning everything needed with little to no direction. Also, smelling second hand smoke from my boss and caregivers coming into my front office space tough on my Asthma. The most enjoyable part of my job was being available to help my boss, caregivers and clients.
Little to no breaks, 2nd hand smoke and negative atmosphere.
