Pros: nice campus
Cons: hr doesn't care about everybody's wellbeing just about relevant indiduals.
Villanova seems a very nice place to work for however there are some backstabbers who doesn't do their job but driven by jealousy and immaturity they feel the need to talk badly about others and complain to higher management about stupid things I rather not to mention here. Be aware, this place might be based in catholic principles but doesn't mean – more... all the people who work there are nice people. There are some individuals who feel they are above everybody else and that their needy request have to be heard no matter how stupid they seem (non-job related) so you cannot act like a human.
Oh, and seems they like to make anonymous complain and stalk you and report every move you make. – less

Typical Graduate Experience
Graduate Teaching Assistant (Former Employee), Villanova, PA – January 29, 2013
I spent the majority of my time working on the research for my graduate thesis, while being a TA for 3, 3-hour labs per week during the Fall and Spring semester and 2, 3-hour labs per week for one month during Summer semester. I also took extra work preparing for organic chemistry labs and staffing the chemical stockroom when needed.

Good Work Environment and Enjoyed Working with Team
Research Assistant (Current Employee), Villanova, PA – April 4, 2012
Pros: work from home
I need not go to university to work, I would enjoy the comforts at home and work on tasks assigned.
I learned great deal on Drupal Content Management System, Apache, MySQL, PHP.
I am leading a team of 15 students.
Hardest part of the job is when facing a dead end in an approach to complete the task.
Everything is enjoyable trying to complete tasks trying – more... out different approaches. – less

University
Related Classwork Experience (Former Employee), Villanova, PA – March 28, 2012
I attended Villanova University from 2008 to 2012. I enjoyed my experience here, but wish they treated their student body more fairly and with more respect. Otherwise, this university stands out on your resume and is great for networking in the Philly/NY areas

Fun and challeging, but great people
Math Teacher for VIEW (Former Employee), Villanova, PA – March 26, 2012
Pros: fun students, great staff
Cons: preparing lesson plans on short notice
I was a Math Teacher for the summer VIEW program, which focuses on teaching high school women from Philadelphia about topics they will see in the near future. The students came to class ready to learn (but sometimes ready to chat and have fun). The students appreciated my occasional joke, and benefited from learning topics in advance before seeing them – more... in the hustle and bustle of a school year. – less

Relaxed, non-stressful atmosphere
Secretary (Former Employee), Villanova, PA – January 12, 2012
Pros: free education for employee and employee's family
Cons: the pay scale was low.
Pleasant place to work. The pace was relatively slow and there was not too much stress. Some deadlines, of course, but always there was support and praise.
