Management likes to run lean by underpaying it's employees. They make promises to their employees they don't intend to keep. Owners are greedy and only care about turning a profit, forgetting they cant make one without the people who work for them. Huge mass exit from the company over the past year. Resources even leaving for no job because of the inequality and poor pay practices. Also, you are not guaranteed 40 hours of work a week.
