A degree or certificate is not required, but you will be expected to perform the same tasks as those who have a degree.

This is an entry level position, perfect for those right out of college.

Ideal candidates will have:

An eye for intelligent design (form & balance, hierarchy, color, typography, etc.) and the ability to design with restrictions and an explicit deadline.

The ability to work without constant supervision (Namely, strong problem-solving/organizational skills and work ethic)
(This part is important) We require:

Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, similar field or relevant work experience (provided you have an excellent portfolio and references)
A diverse portfolio that showcases smart thinking, a solid understanding of what the web can and cannot do, good ideas and great execution

Experience with or exposure to: Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash (design-only), HTML/CSS, project management software, font management, etc
Must write and speak English

  • References (optional, but applicants with references will be considered first)

Want a leg up on the competition? Applicants who submit an answer to one of these questions with their application will be considered first:

Provide a short sentence or paragraph answering one of the following questions:

  • How does your most recent project succeed in its purpose? How does it fail? (please show examples)
  • Imagine you are given a design project (which you complete to the best of your abilities) but your client rejects it because they don't care for your taste - How do you react?
  • Describe the "ideal" website from a designer's point of view (Validate your claims!)

Do not call or stop by for a visit - we're working.
