I began working at the Virginia Candle company in January of
2014. A typical day at work, was arriving at 6:50 in the morning. That way you have time to clock in and get your station ready for the work day. The line would start up at seven. It was hard work, but we got the job done. Working at Virginia Candle company taught me the value of hard work, and how manage whatever life may throw at you. It taught me how to work fast, but accurately. I made some mistakes while there, but I learned fast. Management was ok. As long as you did what you were suppose to be doing, there was no problem. My co-workers made the days fun, especially three that I worked with on my line. The hardest part of the job, was keeping up with how many candles came down the line, sometimes they would come at a fast pace. The most enjoyable part of the job, was using the machine that put bottom labels on. It was fun rigging it up.
