A great job with great people
Medical Assistant (Former Employee), Kirkland, WA –
Pros: great people to work with
Cons: long commute from seattle to kirkland, but worth it
A typical day for me included prepping the patients for two physicians. That meant vital signs, medication lists and noting signs and symptoms. As a military trained medical assistant, I was proficient in medical management and had a keen desire to learn more. The physicians I worked with recognized this and encouraged me to develop my diagnosis and – more...  treatment skills. They would discuss the patients symptoms and quiz me on my knowledge. I was attending night school at a community college to complete pre-medical requirements and the nurses and physicians were extremely supportive of my aspirations. They were so happy for me when I was accepted into medical school and the MEDEX PA Program. – less

Some issues with integrity of management
Admission Center Coordinator (Former Employee), Seattle,Wa –
Pros: cafeteria discounts, reward points for appreciation of merit
Cons: no windows in last work area, small work space, poor phone reception in basement
this employer as a whole does treat the majority of it's employees fair however some departments have problems with integrity and favoritism which can deplete the main character and cohesivness to team building and trust..
