Design & manage implementation and operation of all Windows and Linux web server Infrastructure.
Manage Windows and Linux web server environments, including functionality and general health of web servers, SQL database systems, and installed applications (CMS).
Perform a variety of implementation and changes as requested by developers including configuring web servers, VMWare instances and documentations.
Plan for future changes to the website. Ability to look beyond the day-to-day and develop plans for improving the website(s) as a whole.
Ensure website(s) security by following industry best practices for securing servers, file systems, database, and other resources.
Maintain documentation of all production environments and standard operating procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Development, Programming or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of Apache Web Server Configuration (mixed Linux environments including Redhat and Ubuntu).
Minimum of 3 years experience in using CMS products such as Joomla, Drupal, or Zen Cart preferred.
Minimum of 5 years HTML/CSS/PHP/ASP Web Development experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience in mixed Linux environments (Redhat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
Minimum of 5 years of Microsoft SQL and MySQL experience preferred.
Windows IIS and Web Server configuration and management.
Apache Web Server Configuration (mixed Linux environments including Redhat and Ubuntu).
Sendmail / Postfix / Exchange Administration.
Experience with VMWare technologies including ESXi products preferred.
NICE TO HAVE:
You can use MAKE and build PHP extensions from source.
You have written Bash shell scripts, bonus points for Windows PowerShell
You are familiar with deployment automation/ continuous integration tools. (Capistrano, Bamboo, Hudson)
Extra Bonus points for Ruby, Mono experience.
