Provide clinical, technical and product support to existing and potential customers in collaboration with the sales team and distribution partners. Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide training across all medical practice functions.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in collaboration with the VisionScope sales team and local Distributor Channel Sales Representatives to support both OR and Office cases for the purpose of product and surgical technique training and education.
Implement in-service training programs for office staff whether one-on-one, or for the medical staff as a group.
Participate with the sales team in moving potential customers through the pipeline from prospect to sale and training/inservice.
Develop and lead the clinical/technical modules of sales training events.
Maintain current knowledge about the technology, the competition, clinical applications and overall industry news/events.
Attend internal/external education meetings when requested. Read appropriate journals to enhance skills and clinical competency and share relevant findings with the team.
Stay current on all VisionScope activities, clinical data and expanding applications. Educate the sales team, as appropriate, on how these developments can provide clinical benefit to our customers and their patients.
Minimum of 2 years clinical marketplace experience preferably in the Orthopedic or device area.
Clinical Specialist/Clinical Educator experience preferred.
Refined communication skills, including ability to interact with medical staff and VisionScope team members of all levels.
Effective teaching skills – particularly surgical technique and medical device usage.
Sterling verbal and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
RN, PA, Surgical Tech, or similar clinical credentials, required.
Previous experience as a Clinical Specialist/Clinical Educator, preferred.
Orthopaedic experience a plus.
