Senior Web Application Developer (Former Employee) – Orlando, FL – January 11, 2017
Typical day-to-day work, 8 hours/day with coffee and lunch breaks, comfortable workstation with PC and 3 monitors. I learned Python and Django framework. Management has its own problems and they do not have enough consideration for the development team work. All work is done under supervision of an outside consultant, whose vision is contrary of what the development team does. Co-workers are excellent people, nice, polite, knowledgeable and fun. The hardest part of the job was the management deciding to purchase third-party software without consulting the team and making us to integrate bad software with our own. Most enjoyable part of the job was opportunity to learn new language (Python) and also the lunches and parties thrown by the supervisors.
Nice environment, good people, nice place to work.
Management does not consider the development team valuable
Used to be a top employer, now just a grind-house for management to bully those in the trenches. Workplace culture is non-existent, now it is just a work place. HR is disengaged. Look elsewhere for work with a purpose.
Not worth losing your good health just to get health benefits
Internship (Former Employee) – Orlando, FL – December 30, 2016
This internship was a decent experience. It taught me some valuable lessons in my department. Be careful of what you say around people. Can be unorganized at times but generally if you do your work and do it well, you should be fine.
