Viverae is a great place to work with a healthy workplace culture and relaxed dress code. There are so many employee benefits include an onsite clinic, fitness center, ping pong table and multiple others to help you stay fit and stress free.

It's a place to work for a year or two

Ever changing, the direction is not always known and depends on who you ask. They are transforming but remain in silos per longer term management. I wouldn't recommend anyone I knew to work there unless they wanted short term.

Viverae is constantly voted as one of the best places to work in Dallas. Your typical work day is fast-paced, yet Viverae has managed to provide several outlets to promote wellness in the workplace and provide a great work life balance. The company boasts an onsite fitness facility, cafe and health clinic for its employees. There is also an indoor walking track, ping pong table and relaxation room. The management team is sharp, innovative and very transparent on sharing Viverae's core values and goals. One of the best aspects of this organization is your voice is heard and your ideas are taken seriously. The company backs its products and rewards employees through a deeply discounted health care plan which can be free in some instances and applied to spouses and dependents. Overall, Viverae is a place where you will be proud to work at and enjoy coming to work!

A really laid back environment

A typical day would be at your cubical answering phone called in a very laid back environment. My co-workers were amazing and fun. The most enjoyable part about working there was coming to work very comfortable and they provided a gym to work out in.

Company has a good idea that is poorly executed. Implementing a social network for wellness program doesn't work (ie Fitbit). CEO has multiple supercars yet the board wants to lay people off every year or so. Company has a complete lack of direction and is likely hoping to be acquired by a larger healthcare entity.

The company is innovative and the leadership is taking the company in the right direction with the right strategy. Employees are given the ability to learn new things and grow. The people are great and always helpful. Really nice onsite workout facility and healthy café as well as daily fitness classes. This company is a very fast paced, productive company. You become friends with all the co-workers within your department because you will have to work together often as a team. Being part of this company means never being bored, there is always something to do. To give employees a break from everyday stresses, employees are encourged to take a 15 minute recess each day and step away from their desk to either walk outside, play ping pong or wii with their co-workers, or just have some alone time. There is also a free onsite fitness center for employees with a full class schedule during lunch hours and after work.

The organization has grown very quickly in the last few years, doubling staff in a fiscal quarter has become almost common place. Overall the organization is a great place to work, fun people, good atmosphere...however as with all start up organizations that do not have the luxury of market tenure the growing pains are present. Leadership is green within the organization but new blood has been infused to allow for a more guided approach to the strategic road map. Middle management is being morphed into future leaders which is good, but the dead weight of "legacy" operators is still present.

Viverae is a wellness company that is very fast paced and tries to embody the company and product values into their culture. They have "2 minute workouts" twice a day and numerous corporate functions focused on "wellness."

Viverae is a growing company and the sales department is very busy bringing in new deals so there are a lot of new clients coming on board.

There are a lot of young, talented employees who work very hard. The company has a company cafe on site, a gym on site and encourages employees to live a healthy life style and provides nice on site amenities.

My job consisted of recruiting for field employees to carry out programs and services in the health and wellness industry. Management has done an excellent job of demonstrating the beliefs of the company. My coworkers are very intelligent and accessible when needed. The hardest part of the job is working with candidates that dont' commit to the job. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with intelligent people who truly work as a team.

Initially Promising, Ultimately Not as Advertised
Health Coach; Wellness Promotion (Former Employee) –  Richmond, VADecember 22, 2015
Company has the right intentions (improve members' health and positive lifestyle changes), but execution is poor. Those making decisions for remote client company have little/no experience in health coaching onsite; as a result, processes and expectations did not often factor in some of the realities with health coaching at construction sites. Different arrangements were made throughout my year and a half of employment related to travel reimbursements and were therefore unpredictable. Overall, the handling of this account was not calculated and proactive, but rather, reactionary.
Pros
Supervisor provided prompt and positive feedback, company is willing to offer creative solutions to support the success of members/clients, & onsite facility offers healthy cafe, social activities, and nice gym.
Cons
Position as remote health coach was not as advertised, initially promised daytime travel but on the road some days by 3:30am, travel reimbursement and arrangements changed 3x over a year and a half, four account managers also rotated in and out over the same time frame, supervisor had little power in decision making, supervisors making decisions has little or no construction coaching experience, position changed from ft to pt, transparency expected by coaches but not supervisors
