As a job seeker it is imperative to know who you are. The unlucky won't have encouragement at home and further many rely on a ever faulty, reluctant education system. I have had several jobs over the years and one common thread is now becoming visible, first impressions are snippets of what is to come. You job seekers must learn to see the subliminal messages in interviews, LinkedIn...and yes although no one is perfect, know yourself, what you will deal with and what you won't. You only get one life, so make it count!
They don't like to hear that their product is not that great. When your not a yes man and you have an opinion about anything they don't like it.
Political issues with management. They do not like to hear the truth about the product or management style. If you are a yes person you will do great, if you have an independent thought you won't last.
Had an hourly plus commission. The company without notice took away 6$ an hour and said it was the new pay after you sign an offer sheet for the assumes pay
I was wrongfully terminated after working for the company and being a top performer for just about 4 years. After moving to Los Angeles and working for them for a Year and a half they decided to terminate me before my 4 year mark and bonus without reason.
