Patient Service Representative, Winston-Salem, NC - September 18, 2016
Typical day at work consists of checking in patients, checking out patients (scheduling their follow-up appointments, scans, etc.), obtaining referrals and authorizations. The majority of the day is spent at your desk sitting. Great co-workers, especially the nurses and PA's. Management seems to not understand why there is high turnover with PSR's... not being compensated for the amount of work we have to do, while the Access Center gets paid more. Sometimes you don't get a lunch, rarely get off on time. If you like overtime this job is for you. Great benefits for health insurance, and paying for college tuition.
