I liked Walgreens is a good company to work for. I have been full time for 3 years. Some of the benefits is that I feel that I am making an impact on patients health and well being. I go above and beyond my daily tasks to make sure the our patients are getting the proper care, and medication in a efficient ant timely manner. Some of my daily tasks include:
• Provides timely response to patient inquiries by telephone and email on and in and outbound basis, consistent with quality standards.
• Contacts doctor offices on an in and outbound basis to coordinate patient care by scheduling orders, communicating information to the patient regarding shipments, assessing supply needs, verifying patient information, and notifying the pharmacist of issues or changes in the patient’s conditions.
• Ensures that good patient relations are maintained and patient claims and complaints are resolved fairly and effectively.
• Assists in the training of newly hired coordinators to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of patient care.
