IT Specialist/Help Desk Support Technician

We’re seeking an experienced IT Specialist/Help Desk Support Technician. The selected candidate MUST have at least 2 years of recent IT Specialist/Help Desk Support Technician experience, strong hardware & software computer skills and outstanding communication/customer service skills.


  • Experience in PC Support, Audio/Video, Alarm, Telephone, CCTV, Low Voltage Wiring and Managed Services
  • Proficient in Computer Networks, Display Installation, Home Automation, Security Cameras, Server and Email, Multi-Room Audio, Telephone VoIP, Lighting Controls, AV Calibration, Retrofit Wiring, Card Access, Home Theater, Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm, Intercom and Pre-Wire
  • Perform system configuration, installation, quality assurance, transport, deliver and retrieve equipment as assigned
  • Ability to resolve routine technical problems for software, computers and/or networks
  • Perform system administration of passwords, access controls and account creation
  • Knowledgeable in electronic measuring instruments, assorted related tools and computer test program accurately
  • Provide instructions and assistance to end-users in the use of information technology systems and processes for commonly used systems
  • Diagnose and repair digital assembly boards including surface mount, power boards, LED, processors and other electronic parts down to component level
  • Skillful in network design, server installs and upgrades, migrations and other large scale client projects
  • Record and maintain accurate and detailed job records in Autotask
  • Alert management to recurring problems and patterns of problems
  • Receive calls or E-mails at the IT Service Desk requesting pertinent services
  • Assist user in the resolution of the request or transfer the request to the appropriate person in a timely manner
  • Follow Wanderlogic’s policies and procedures in the execution of job duties
