Target store at 21 st and Yale sucks
Team Member (Former Employee), Tulsa, OK – April 17, 2013
Pros: going home
Cons: going to work
My experience working at Target was a joke. Working fast and hard to over pull orders. So We could work fast and hard putting most of the over pulled stock back. So that We could hurry to pull it yet again, Management here was the worst I have ever seen in a business environment. I had the privilege to have worked with some of the best people I have – more... ever worked with. Going home at the end of the shift was My favorite part of the day. – less

Depends on VP Operation is under
Operations Manager (Former Employee), Evansville, IN – November 7, 2012
Pros: if you get into a good operation, then it can be fun, but challenging
Cons: they don't care how many hours salary employees have to work.
Some Operations I worked in were good. VP would make sure proper Resources were available and targets were tough, but obtainable. My last Operation was the complete opposite. They became infatuated with numbers. Care for employees went by the wayside. Goals were not obtainable with the resources I was given. I had to work many 80+ hour weeks the last – more... year I was there. For 2 months straight I worked over 100 hours per week and they did not seem to care since I was a Salary employee. I had no family life. – less

productive and fun with free lunches and great bonuses!
national vision (Former Employee), Pennsauken, NJ – August 25, 2012
Pros: we got free lunches all the time, mondays was donuts and coffee day and we also got frequent bonuses.
Cons: i really can't think of any cons i working in a optical warehouse.
I worked in the A/R section of the lab i would clean the lenses and ring them, place them into the ultrasonic and finally place them in the oven to dry. The hardest part of my job was making sure that the lenses were not scratched and making sure that we don't scratch them ourselves while cleaning or ringing them.

Great Independent Work Environment
Loader-unloader (Former Employee), North Charleston, SC – May 3, 2012
My daily activities involved the movement of stock materials on and off of delivery trucks. I had to ensure the safety of the materials during transport with the use of proper packing materials. The most difficult part of this job was being on my feet all day. The most enjoyable part of this job was the ability to work independently and at my own pace.

Safe and Wonderful workplace
retail (Former Employee), auckland airport – April 1, 2013
Pros: great team members to work with.
Cons: nothing to be honest.
What I learnt form this workplace is that always satisfy your customers even though they can be rude and disrespectful but try and help them with their needs, and also try and meet their needs and expectations and also recommend them another product that could maybe go with their product their already brought. What i also enjoyed about this workplace – more... that the team members are always happy and really helpful. – less

Customer focused, frendly and professional.
Night fill team member (Current Employee), Dargaville – January 23, 2013
Pros: friendly, professional environment.
Cons: working unsociable hours.
The Warehouse is a good place to work and the night fill team are very helpful and friendly. The management team are very professional and down to earth in their management systems and dealings with staff and customers.

The most enjoyable part of the job is providing assistance to customers and ensuring that their shopping experience is both enjoyable – more... and satisfying. I love seeing the cheerful smile on the faces of our customers when they purchase a product knowing that they have got a bargin.

The hardest part of my job is working during unsociable hours and feeling personally disappointed when a customer leaves the store without being able to purchase the item they were looking for. – less

No fun, management treat the women like dirt.
cleaner (Current Employee), London, edmonton, 3 anthony way – January 16, 2013
Pros: close to home
Cons: everything
The owners and managers treat women like dirt, they keep touching them, talk and behave with a strong sexual implications. Work is hard, demanding and the pay is below the minimum national wage. These people act like Gods and nobody can do anything about it, because they have back up at the Home Office and they rely also on the workers reluctance to – more... talk to the authorities. It`s recession and no one wants to lose her job especially when most of the workers have no legal forms. Above all, now they demand workers with a nice body and below 30 years of age. – less

Fun workplace
Team member (Former Employee), Airport – January 13, 2013
Pros: free lunches
Cons: long hours
A busy long day would be so tiring that you don't look at the time that it travelling so fast. I learned Customer Care, How to stock up new stuff and to actually Recover the clothing every now and then. Management was real friendly and would help us out every time we would need the help or was lost at the time of the job. Co-workers were also friendly – more... but I reckon some of them would let us do some of their work while they were doing their shopping and it was not on to it, leaving us new workers a bit uninterested in their work. The hardest part of the job was proving the management that you are the one for the job while you were challenging the other co-workers. However the most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people, knowing that you have helped a customer and actually getting to say at the end of the job that you have actually accomplished a little of something. Its a hands on work kind of job but at the end it was worth it all. – less
