Fun work environment, skill building job
Painter (Former Employee) – Swannanoa, NC – March 4, 2013
I had a really great time working as a painter at Warren Wilson College. I learned a lot about working with other people, how to do a neat paint job, how to put up drywall, use a paint sprayer, large ladders, etc. The management of the painting job was a little poor because my first boss left soon after I started working there and my second boss didn't really figure out what his role was until soon before I left. That being said, I had a good time with my co-workers and found that we worked well together and had fun. The hardest part of the job for me was cleaning up after a few people I worked with who did sloppy work. The most enjoyable part of the job for me was finishing a big project and using the paint sprayer.
fairly flexible work hours, my coworkers
short breaks, poor management
