Supervision of the utility billing customer service unit. Prepares schedules, provides training and performance reviews; ensures residential and commercial customer account changes are correctly recorded; resolves billing errors; tracks parcel number changes and ensures accounts recieve service and are accurately accounted for in the billing system; supervises the daily handling of cash; coordinates with fiscal staff for invoicing and certifying delinquent accounts; coordinates preparation of daily delivery schedules for trailer program, tracks and reports tonnage and other information for special services projects; attends Operations staff meetings, and provides office support for Operations. Requires five years of related experience or education of which one year must have been supervisory; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience. Education may not be substituted for the required supervisory experience. Related degree areas would be Business, Accounting, Finance, Office Managment. Preference may be given to candidates with Caselle Software experience.
